Accelerate Your Business: Expanding Youth Apprenticeship in Idaho

Join this virtual apprenticeship accelerator and learn how youth apprenticeship can be used to enhance your business talent development pipeline.

About this event

National apprenticeship experts will provide an overview of the components and benefits of an apprenticeship and the registration process during the first hour.

In the second hour, attendees will have the option to join smaller breakout rooms and interact directly with the presenters, participating apprenticeship employers and Idaho Department of Labor representatives. Participants will be able to delve deeper into the topics of youth apprenticeship through additional Q&A, employer perspectives on implementation and benefits, guidance on how schools can connect their students to opportunities and discussion on how apprenticeship can benefit businesses and schools.

We’re excited to welcome speakers from JFF — a national nonprofit aimed at transforming the American workforce and education systems to help people achieve economic advancement —the Manufacturers Association of Central New York and Scott Ellsworth, federal/state apprenticeship consultant.
