Erin Gorringe serves as the Youth Apprenticeship Program, Marketing and Communications Manager. Through effective storytelling, creative content and design, and on-point strategies the Youth Apprenticeship Program works to connect classrooms to careers by empowering young Idahoans.
Erin has worked to encourage healthy bodies and minds in young girls through Girls on the Run, develop leadership skills in I-WIL, create a thriving wild population of endangered California condors with the Peregrine Fund, and fostering youth excitement in the sciences by reviewing grant applications for the Idaho STEM Action Center. And most recently, she proudly served as Director of Marketing and Brand Development at the Girl Scouts of Silver Sage.
A graduate from Linfield College, Erin holds degrees in Biology and Fine Art. When not hard at work, she teaches hot yoga, loves a good Ragnar Relay, and raises bees. A proud 4th generation Idahoan, she enjoys exploring the high deserts and mountains of Idaho with her husband, Sam, and 1-year-old son, Sonne.
Erin earned the Accomplished Under 40 Award and sits on numerous non-profit committees, including the Inclusivity, Engagement, and Outreach Board Committee for Girl Scouts, as well as the Volunteer Retention Board Committee for Girls on the Run.
